Foam & Memory Foam Mattresses

A foam mattress is built entirely from foam layers with no springs, making it completely silent and exceptionally good at absorbing movement. When a partner turns over or gets out of bed, the motion does not travel across the sleeping surface. The top layer of our foam mattresses is gel-infused memory foam that responds to body heat, moulding precisely to your shape and distributing weight evenly — relieving pressure at the shoulders, hips and knees, which suits side sleepers particularly well. Beneath it sits a dense cold-foam support core that holds the spine in neutral alignment and prevents sagging. All foam is CertiPUR-EU certified, meaning it is manufactured without heavy metals, formaldehyde or ozone depleters. Foam mattresses ship rolled in a compact box and regain full shape within 2–4 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do foam mattresses sleep hot?

The gel memory foam we use is open-cell and conducts heat away effectively. If you sleep unusually warm, consider a pocket spring mattress, whose construction gives inherently better airflow.

Is polyurethane foam the same as memory foam?

Polyurethane foam is the general category; memory foam is a development of it that reacts to body heat and contours more slowly and closely to your shape.

How long does a foam mattress last?

A quality foam mattress lasts 8–10 years. Lifespan depends mostly on the density of the support core — the denser the base foam, the later body impressions appear.
